I can honestly say that it feels good to finally put my mind towards losing weight and being serious about it. My boyfriend and I decided we would go back to eating healthy again and start going to the gym 3 days a week. My health/weight loss journey began September 1, and so far we are sticking to our plan and have gone to the gym twice this week and going grocery shopping next week once we get paid.
I know it’s still early, but I can honestly say that I’m happy to be finally putting in work so that I can get to where I need to be. This is the first time ever that I’ve felt like this… It was as if something in me just clicked, and now I’m more than ever ready to change.
My goal is to lose 10 pounds this month, and by jJne of next year, to lose a total of 70 pounds. No more saying that “I want” or “I need,” but not actually doing it; I am mentally ready and prepared for what lies ahead of me.
